The CBN and PCD tool belong to the super-hard material tool, among which the CBN inserts is used in the milling and boring process of the gray cast iron engine cylinder block, which can improve the production efficiency and reduce the production cost compared with the carbide tool. The PCD tool is used in the milling and boring process of die-casting aluminum engine cylinder block to obtain higher surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
